New program introduced to help young people with a disability -
to re-engage and secure them suitable pathways into training or employment
This initiative of OzChild has been implemented because of our concern that some adolescents with an intellectual disability are "falling through a gap" - neither at school, nor employed. These adolescents will now be re-joined into pathways for their future.
The program will run in the Frankston area, working in partnership with the Department of Human Services Disability Client Services Adolescent team, the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, Taskforce and Frankston City Council.
Perpetual Trustees and the Harvey Patterson Trust have made this, and the resulting government support, possible by helping us re-engage these needy adolescents. To find out more about this exciting new program, contact
